A Study on Freight Forwarding Process in Sea Export at Worldwide Logistics Pvt Ltd.

Abstract

Cargo management plays a vital role in logistics and must be effectively monitored throughout export and import operations to ensure safe transportation of goods. This study focuses on transportation fleet and cargo management in Neptune Logitek Pvt Ltd, Chennai. The objectives include examining financial issues, analyzing cargo handling tools and equipment, and identifying operational challenges in transportation management. Data were collected from 120 employees using convenience sampling and multiple-choice questionnaires. Statistical tools such as Karl Pearson’s Correlation, Chi-square test, and One-way ANOVA were used for analysis. The findings helped identify key issues and provide suggestions to improve transportation fleet and cargo management practices in the organization.
