Abstract

Vasaka (Adhatoda vasica):A traditional medicinal herb in Ayurveda, Vasaka is commonly used to address respiratory issues such as cough, asthma, and bronchitis. It possesses expectorant and anti-inflammatory qualities.Datura (Datura stramonium):This plant is known for its powerful alkaloids and has been used in traditional medicine to treat asthma and alleviate pain. However, Datura is highly toxic and should be used with caution.Isabgol (Plantago ovata):A natural source of soluble fiber, specifically psyllium husk, Isabgol is used to relieve constipation, enhance digestion, and promote gut health.Psoralea (Psoralea corylifolia):Utilized in Ayurvedic practices for skin conditions, strengthening bones, and as a general tonic, Psoralea has antimicrobial and antioxidant effects but must be administered carefully.Jasmine (Jasminum species):Known for its fragrant flowers, Jasmine is used in traditional medicine to promote relaxation, improve skin health, and elevate mood.
