Abstract
This research paper examines the intricate relationship between customer perception and digital marketing effectiveness within contemporary consumer markets. Through a systematic analysis of existing empirical evidence, this study investigates how consumer attitudes toward digital marketing channels influence engagement behaviors, purchase intentions, and brand relationships. The findings reveal that customer perception significantly predicts digital marketing effectiveness, with perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use emerging as the strongest determinants of consumer engagement. Additionally, the research identifies trust and perceived personalization as crucial mediating variables in the perception-engagement relationship. The findings further demonstrate that consumer demographics moderate the relationship between perception and behavioral responses to digital marketing. This research contributes to the digital marketing literature by providing empirical validation of the multidimensional nature of customer perception and its differential effects on various engagement outcomes. The findings have important implications for marketing practitioners seeking to develop effective digital marketing strategies that resonate with diverse consumer segments in increasingly competitive digital environments.
