Abstract
Recent developments in human pathology have significantly improved modern healthcare by enabling earlier detection, accurate diagnosis, and more effective treatment of diseases. Advances in genomic technologies, medical imaging, biomarker identification, personalized therapies, and immunotherapy have enhanced disease management. Although progress has been made in controlling infectious and chronic diseases, challenges such as unequal healthcare access, antimicrobial resistance, and lifestyle-associated disorders continue to require attention. Future improvements will depend on the combined application of artificial intelligence, biotechnology, and worldwide health initiatives. Plant diseases and plant pathophysiology provide insights into how infectious agents and environmental conditions influence plant health and biological functions. Pathogens such as fungi, bacteria, viruses, and nematodes, along with abiotic stresses, can disturb essential processes including photosynthesis, nutrient absorption, and plant development. Understanding plant defense responses and disease mechanisms supports effective disease control, breeding of resistant crops, sustainable agricultural practices, and improved global food security.
