A Study on Sales Strategy of Freight Forwarding Services with Reference to Flyjac Logistics Private Limited

Abstract
The logistics and freight forwarding industry plays a significant role in international trade by ensuring the efficient movement of goods across countries and continents. In the modern business environment, organizations must adopt effective sales strategies to remain competitive and improve customer satisfaction. This study focuses on analysing the sales strategies adopted by Flyjac Logistics Private Limited, a leading freight forwarding and logistics service provider. The research examines customer satisfaction, sales effectiveness, communication practices, employee coordination, lead conversion, and pricing competitiveness within the organization.
The study is descriptive in nature and is based on both primary and secondary data. Primary data was collected through a structured questionnaire distributed among 107 employees of Flyjac Logistics Pvt. Ltd., Chennai. Secondary data was collected from books, journals, company reports, and logistics-related websites. The collected data was analysed using percentage analysis, Chi-Square test, and One-Way ANOVA.
The findings reveal that most employees have a good understanding of the company’s sales strategy and consider it effective. The organization demonstrates strong operational coordination and satisfactory customer-oriented practices. However, certain challenges such as pricing competitiveness, inconsistent training programs, and communication gaps still exist. The study concludes that improved customer relationship management, advanced digital tools, regular training, and competitive pricing strategies can enhance the company’s market position and long-term growth.
