Abstract

The present study titled “A Study on HR Efficiency and Its Impact on Organizational Productivity with Special Reference to TechIn IT Process Private Limited, Vijayawada” was undertaken to analyze the efficiency of HR operations and their impact on organizational productivity. Human Resource Management is a critical function in IT organizations, especially in small and medium enterprises where recruitment effectiveness, employee engagement and data management accuracy play a major role in business success. The main objective of the study is to examine the recruitment practices, employee engagement initiatives and HR data management systems at TechIn IT Process Private Limited. The study also attempts to identify the relationship between employee experience levels and their satisfaction with HR functions, and to provide suitable suggestions for improving HR operational efficiency.

The study is based on both primary and secondary data. Primary data was collected from 120 respondents through a structured questionnaire using a 5-point Likert scale. Secondary data was collected from books, journals, company records and relevant websites. The study adopted a descriptive research design. The internship was conducted for a period of three months from 5th January 2026 to 31st March 2026 under the supervision of Ms. Vidya, HR Manager.

Various statistical tools were used to analyze the collected data. These include percentage analysis and Chi-Square test. These tools helped to understand employee opinions regarding recruitment fairness, selection transparency, communication timeliness, onboarding quality, team-building effectiveness, recognition practices, career development opportunities, data accuracy, attendance management and information accessibility.

The findings of the study reveal that most employees are satisfied with the recruitment process and employee engagement initiatives, both recording 66.67% positive satisfaction. Recruitment fairness, selection transparency and team-building activities were identified as the strongest HR dimensions. HR data management accuracy recorded the lowest satisfaction at 55.83%, with attendance and leave data timeliness being the weakest individual dimension at 50.00%. Recognition and rewards (44.17%) and career growth opportunities (48.34%) emerged as significant engagement gaps. All three Chi-Square tests confirmed that there is no significant relationship between employee experience level and satisfaction with any HR function, indicating equitable and standardized HR service delivery across all tenure levels.

The study also indicates that the company maintains professional HR standards despite resource constraints, although improvements can be made in HR technology adoption, structured recognition programmes, career development frameworks and automated attendance management systems.
