Employee engagement reflects the level of commitment and involvement employees have toward their work, while retention focuses on an organization’s ability to maintain its workforce over time. The study highlights various HR strategies such as training and development, effective communication, performance management, and reward systems that contribute to improved employee satisfaction. It also discusses the challenges faced by HR professionals in maintaining a motivated workforce in a competitive environment. The findings emphasize that organizations focusing on employee well-being, career growth, and a positive work culture are more successful in retaining talent and achieving long-term organizational goals.
Purpose of the study:
The main purpose of this study is to analyse the role of Human Resource Management in
improving employee engagement and retention. It aims to identify key factors that influence employee satisfaction, motivation, and commitment. The study also focuses on understanding how HR strategies can reduce employee turnover and enhance organizational performance.
Additionally, it seeks to provide practical insights into effective HR practices that can be implemented to create a supportive and productive work environment.
