Emotional Intelligence in Work Environment

Abstract
Emotional intelligence plays a crucial role in shaping employee behavior, workplace relationships, and overall organizational performance. This study examines employee perception towards emotional intelligence in the work environment, focusing on awareness, self-regulation, motivation, empathy, and social skills. The study is based on a structured questionnaire administered to 105 respondents. Statistical tools such as Percentage Analysis, Chi-Square Test, One-Way ANOVA, Pearson Correlation, and Regression Analysis were used for data analysis. The findings reveal that employees possess a moderate to high level of emotional intelligence and that it significantly influences workplace relationships and performance. The study provides valuable insights for improving emotional intelligence practices in organizations.
