A Study on Supply Chain Management in Automotive Company: The Role of Invoice Verification

Abstract

The automotive industry depends on a strong supply chain system for smooth production. Many suppliers provide raw materials and components to manufacturing companies. Along with material movement, financial transactions are also important. One of the key financial activities in supply chain management is invoice verification.

This project studies the role of invoice verification in the automotive industry. It is based on academic knowledge from B. Com studies and practical experience during internship in an automotive component manufacturing company that produces air conditioning systems for cars. During the internship, invoice verification was done manually and through accounting software. This study explains how invoice verification helps in avoiding payment mistakes, improving supplier relationships, and maintaining financial control. It also discusses challenges and suggestions for improvement.
