Abstract
Asset management plays a critical role in enhancing operational efficiency and financial sustainability in manufacturing organizations, particularly within the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector where assets are subjected to intensive usage. This study examines asset management practices with specific reference to CavinKare Private Limited, focusing on the relationship between asset utilization patterns and depreciation behavior under varying operational shift factors. Guided by Asset Life Cycle Theory, the research analyzes how operational intensity influences asset value consumption and depreciation outcomes. The study adopts a descriptive and analytical research design using both primary and secondary data. Statistical tools such as Pearson correlation analysis and one-way ANOVA were applied using SPSS, while Microsoft Excel and Power BI were utilized for data processing and visualization. The findings indicate statistically significant differences in accumulated depreciation across assets operating under different shift factors, though the practical magnitude of the relationship remains weak. Aligning depreciation methods with actual utilization patterns can improve asset valuation accuracy and maintenance planning.
