Abstract

The rapid growth of social media has made visual branding a critical component of modern marketing strategies. At the same time, artificial intelligence (AI) has emerged as a transformative technology influencing how visual content is created, optimized, and distributed. This study examines the role of artificial intelligence in enhancing visual branding on social media platforms using secondary data sources, including academic literature, industry reports, and documented case studies. The research adopts a qualitative and descriptive approach to analyze how AI-driven tools such as generative design systems, visual analytics, and personalization technologies contribute to brand consistency, engagement, and content performance. The findings indicate that AI improves efficiency in visual content creation, enables personalized visual communication, and supports consistent brand identity across platforms. Case evidence from brands such as Netflix and Coca-Cola demonstrates that AI-driven visual strategies significantly enhance audience engagement and brand visibility. However, the study also identifies key challenges related to authenticity, ethical use, and data privacy in AI-generated branding content. The research highlights the importance of integrating human creative oversight and establishing ethical governance frameworks to ensure responsible AI adoption. This study contributes to existing knowledge by providing a comprehensive understanding of how artificial intelligence reshapes visual branding practices on social media and offers strategic insights for marketers seeking sustainable and ethical AI-driven branding solutions.
