Abstract
In the context of Industry 4.0, predictive maintenance has emerged as a revolutionary solution for enhancing equipment efficiency and minimizing production downtimes. This paper explores how Artificial Intelligence (AI)-driven predictive maintenance is transforming the Indian manufacturing sector, especially in MSMEs. Leveraging machine learning algorithms, sensor data, and IoT systems, industries can now anticipate mechanical failures before they occur, optimize maintenance schedules, and enhance overall productivity. The study utilizes secondary data and technical case studies to analyze the ROI, environmental benefits, and implementation barriers of AI-integrated maintenance systems. It further discusses the synergy between digital transformation and sustainability goals.
