Abstract
Phytopharmaceuticals are becoming increasingly popular globally, largely due to a rising preference for natural, plant-derived treatments and their generally lower risk of side effects compared to conventional synthetic medications. Progress in biotechnology and analytical tools has enabled better standardization and improved the effectiveness and safety assessment of herbal drugs, supporting their wider acceptance in conventional medicine. Current trends highlight an emphasis on rigorous scientific research, unified regulatory frameworks, and ethical, sustainable harvesting of medicinal plants. Furthermore, advancements in extraction techniques and drug formulation are improving the absorption and ease of use of these therapies. In summary, the phytopharmaceutical industry is expected to expand further, driven by growing consumer interest in integrative health approaches and continued scientific validation.
