Abstract

This study aims to empirically investigate the impact of Emotional Intelligence and Quality of Work Life on Work Engagement, as well as the individual effects of Emotional Intelligence and Quality of Work Life on Work Engagement, among employees of PT Rapik Karya Mandiri. A quantitative approach was employed, with a sample of 207 employees. The results indicate a significant combined influence of Emotional Intelligence and Quality of Work Life on Work Engagement. However, the analysis also shows that Emotional Intelligence alone does not have a significant effect on Work Engagement. Conversely, Quality of Work Life demonstrates a significant positive impact on Work Engagement. Overall, the study reveals that Emotional Intelligence and Quality of Work Life jointly account for 17.4% of the variance in Work Engagement, while the remaining 82.6% is attributable to other factors not examined in this research.
