Abstract
In this study Quality Management Practices of Self Financing Colleges in Thiruvanthapuram examine their online learning quality management procedures. Faculty development, technology integration, student assistance, accreditation, and regulatory frameworks are the main areas of attention. The study uses a mixed-methods approach, collecting data from students, professors, and institutional records through questionnaires, interviews, and document analysis. Online certificate programs and mentor-mentee systems are two examples of student support mechanisms that have been put in place to improve learning outcomes and engagement. To guarantee quality standards, accreditation procedures have been implemented, such as the National Assessment and Accreditation Council’s (NAAC) requirement that new courses be accredited. To regulate the operations of self-financing colleges, regulatory structures have been established, including the creation of panels to evaluate academic quality and handle student complaints.
