Necessity of Managerial Communication Course for MBA Students

Abstract

There were the days when management students outperformed all other professional students in their level of communication. MBA students used to be role models to others with their creative communication skills. But now, the level of efficiency has got down and they need some curriculum assistance to upgrade their communicative competence. As a result, in most of the institutions offering MBA courses, managerial communication has been introduced as part of the curriculum. Managerial skills are a bit different skills from ordinary communication skills. The present paper portrays that difference between managerial skills and communication skills. And it also discusses about the need for managerial skills for present-day MBA graduates.
