Abstract

Quality assurance (QA) is essential in maintaining the safety, effectiveness, and consistency of pharmaceutical products. It provides a structured approach to minimizing errors, managing risks, and ensuring that all medicines delivered to patients comply with defined quality standards. Through strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and global regulatory requirements, QA safeguards public health, builds consumer trust, and reinforces the reputation of the pharmaceutical industry. In essence, an effective quality assurance system goes beyond regulatory compliance—it represents an ethical and professional responsibility to ensure patient safety and uphold international health standards.
